Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa is the perfect honeymoon destination where adventure and elegance converge on the natural island of Thilamaafushi in the Lhaviyani Atoll. This eco-conscious hideaway invites couples to celebrate new beginnings with its signature Avec Amour experiences – a perfect fusion of intimacy and discovery.

This season, the resort encourages guests to “Rediscover Paradise”, unveiling new experiences that elevate the art of connection, whether through adrenaline-fuelled adventures, wellness rituals, or meaningful encounters with nature. Couples can begin their journey with a sunrise paddleboard or a match on the region’s first Padel by the Sea court before unwinding in the Explore Spa, where treatments take place in glass-floored overwater rooms above the shimmering lagoon.

Those with a taste for exploration can dive into hands-on marine conservation, from coral propagation to sea turtle tracking, or snorkel the island’s one-kilometre coral reef teeming with marine life.

For couples seeking ultimate seclusion, the resort’s Ocean Nest overwater sanctuary offers a private escape under the stars complete with champagne and panoramic ocean views. Every moment feels cinematic, from floating breakfasts in turquoise lagoons to candlelit dinners on the beach. In the evening, couples may also opt to embrace the resort’s island-to-table philosophy at the Harvest Table, where dishes are crafted from ingredients grown in one of the Maldives’ largest hydroponic greenhouses.

Whether it’s a first adventure together or a rekindling of the flame, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa offers the perfect balance of relaxation and spontaneity.
